About Galactic Artillery

Galactic Artillery is a two-player turn-based shooting game where you fire projectiles across a gravitationally active space environment, and planetary gravity bends every shot's trajectory. This means that straight-line targeting never works — you must calculate (or intuit) curved paths that account for the gravitational influence of each planet between your ship and the target. The game models a genuine physical challenge: artillery targeting in curved space is mathematically equivalent to the orbital mechanics problems that NASA engineers solve when planning spacecraft trajectories. Understanding the gravity system transforms misses into learning opportunities rather than random failures.
