About Ludo

Ludo is the Western adaptation of the ancient Indian game Pachisi, with a documented history spanning over 1,500 years of play across the Indian subcontinent. Despite its luck-dependent dice rolling, Ludo offers meaningful strategic decisions about which token to move when multiple options exist — prioritizing vulnerability (protecting a token that's exposed to capture), advancement (pushing a nearly-home token to safety), and offense (threatening to capture opponent tokens). These decisions create genuine skill differentiation between players even across many dice-determined results. This version features full multiplayer support for two to four players.
