Meteor Dodge places your spaceship in a field of incoming meteors of varying sizes and speeds, requiring continuous navigation that balances avoiding immediate threats against maintaining future maneuverability. Large meteors are slow but create significant collision zones; small meteors are fast but offer narrow clearance opportunities. The game's difficulty comes from the interaction between these types — a large meteor forces you into a narrow corridor that a fast small meteor is approaching simultaneously, creating compound hazard management. The open spatial environment rewards different movement strategies than the fixed-lane format of most dodger games.
